Scientology Churches Sponsor Drug Education

Although most people will say they think drug use is destructive, it is on the rise all over the world. Clearly, something more effective must be done to bring this international scourge under control.

Perhaps if schools were not so eager to administer cocaine-like stimulants to kids our young people would grow up with a different attitude about drugs.

The Church of Scientology International and all Scientology churches are very much involved in drug prevention and drug education. This can only be done on a one-on-one basis, getting through to each child before they become drug users. There is so much pressure on our kids to use drugs, all of us – parents, teachers, neighbors, friends – can’t stand back and stay uninvolved. It’s time to do something about this.

Drugs are a serious problem the world over. In Australia the Church of Scientology of Sydney runs a terrific drug-prevention program called the Drug Free Ambassadors.

Children and teens pledge to stay off drugs, and encourage their friends to make the same decision.

It's very simple, but it really works.

In the United States, Canada and South Africa there is a similar group, called the Drug Free Marshals.
